Does CC grades affect GPA

So I'm an incoming freshman to UCLA for fall 2013. The issue is I have had taken a community college course Water Coloring I and gotten a B. During the whole college apps I had listed that I had taken this class so on myucla checklist, it says I had not turned in (the box unchecked) the said transcript as I haven't visited the community college for quite a long time. So if I do visit and tell them to send in my transcripts to UCLA, will the grade affect my college GPA as it after all is a college course. I had originally taken the Water Coloring class because I thought my junior and senior schedule would not be able to accommodate a visual arts class to graduate which is why I took a class in Water Coloring. So I would not like to use the units I've obtained for college, am I allowed to do that? As I merely did the class for high school but now I fear this class may count for my college GPA if I do mail in the transcript to UCLA. As I have friends that are taking cc classes this summer to start early and I know their classes would affect their GPA, would this be the same as I would really not want to tarnish my freshman GPA with this B I had received while in HS.

No, it will not affect your GPA in UCLA. It is just a grade from the cc, that is it. You should go to the cc website to figure out how to send official transcript to UCLA asap. It is just a credit unit to UCLA.

lol you should ask does UCLA grades affect your CC grades buddy. You cannot get any higher grade after transfer :)
