Does collegeboard report SAT scores to high school?

Does collegeboard report my SAT score to high school where I’m attending? If so, when? for what purpose?

I know that some of the schools put your SAT scores on your transcripts.

I assumed that they did send them to the high schools because my daughter recently requested an unofficial copy of her transcript and the scores were on the transcript.

One of the sections to fill out in the application to take the test is identity of your high school. if you provide it, high school will be sent scores when they are released to you by College Board. Many high schools put your scores on the transcripts sent to colleges.

And the best reason to NEVER disclose the high school on the SAT registration. If the high school or TCB matches your scores to the PSAT, send a letter to notify of your NON acceptance of the disclosure. Colleges will request and almost always only accept officially released SAT scores. There are NO reason why YOUR test scores should become part of your high school records. Never. Ever.
