Can someone tell me if colleges look at your AP scores and if it does, does it play a big part in hindering what college u go to?

I don't think you have to report them until you get in and want to earn credit for them

You can self-report them, and the college will see them in that case, but they're technically not an admission factor, only used for placement.
It won't look good to have crappy ones (or, conversely, to not report a score when you've obviously taken the AP class), but it won't really hurt you.

what is considered crappy because I have 4 and 5's except for a 3 in Econ and Human Geo (2 of the subjects I self-studied)

Some colleges ask for your AP test scores on their application or their CommonApp supplement.

do any of the ivies, or MIT or Stanford do that?

I know Princeton and Yale have a specific section for AP and IB scores on their supplements.

Yes. the ivies and the other more competitive colleges seem to be the ones that ask for your AP scores on their applications.

i would send them regardless of the score. it says on your transcript that you took X AP class, so they want to see if you took the test in addition to the class. the scores wont hinder you (probably unless they are all 1s, but i doubt it)

I self-studied 4 od the 6 AP's I took...

Possibly, and no.
