Does Cornell ask for a Financial Document before application review?

I am an international student currently residing in MA.

I just applied to Cornell this Sunday and was wondering if

I have to send a financial document or a bank statement before

Cornell reviews my application.

I tried to find it in the web site, but it was hard to find something about it.

This might mean I won't need any financial proof for now,

but international students have different requirements and criteria

and I just wanted to make sure.

Can anyone who is familiar with this kind of problem answer my question???

Depends on whether or not your applying for FA. If your applying for FA, the deadline is Jan 3rd. If not, I don’t think the ICoF is needed yet.

Cornell is need-blind even for int’ls so I doubt they’d need it now.

I don’t think International students can apply for FA. FA is only for U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents with Green card.

I am not applying for FA
so that means I do not need to send a bank statement
before Cornell reviews my application?

Incorrect. There is financial aid available for international students, but it is very limited.

No. Admission is need-blind. I believe, and I am by no means an expert on the situation of internationals, you will need to show proof of your ability to pay for your education before you can get a visa to come to the U.S. for college.
