I want to join it right away if there is one!

Yes it does. My roommate is in it.

slightly silly question but what exactly do you do and how do you run that sort of club? We don't have one in my school and it sounds interesting.

Yes, it's called Cornell Investment Club, CIC.

http://www.rso.cornell.edu/cic/About.htm

There are numerous.

1.) Cornell Investment Club - Weekly Monday meetings in the Johnson School. Manages a portfolio of about $20,000. They do alright, worse than the S&P this semester. Discussions are informal, but it's a good learning experience.

2.) Cornell Mutual Fund Club - Manages about $25,000 or so. Students are organized into teams and present stocks related to their sector. Discussions are more formal, and presenters and analysts wear suits.

3.) There's some other 10-person club that manages about $5,000. Don't know much about it though.

do you have to be in AEM or in the MBA program to join?

No (10 char)
