My laptop has like a 45 minute battery life and I just wanted to know if the cornell classrooms had power slots so that I could use my recharger. Or else I might need to buy a netbook. Thanks

most classrooms do not have a power connection, except in the front where it’s totally not convenient for you. especially given the small desks and close seating in some classes, I think you’d be better off with a netbook (if you decide that you must have a computer with you in class.)

45 mins?! you must have a souped up machine… and one that won’t be to convenient to carry around.

I never took my laptop to class but most of my classes had outlets on the sides, back, and obviously front. if you must have a computer in class, get there a few mins early and get to a location that has power.

also, i’ve never been a mac person but i’ve heard the iPad has an insanely long battery life- 10 hours or something close, if you’re fine with tablets that don’t have ‘real’ keyboards.

My laptop is actually really powerful and its extremely fast which is why it has such a low battery life.

The newer class rooms do; older ones and lecture halls usually do not.
