Does Cornell look at your SAT writing score?

Hi, I read on College board that Cornell does not look at the essay portion, but does it look at the SAT writing section score (like your multiple-choice subscore)? or does it just look at your score out of 1600 (Math + CR)? I'm kind of confused.. :)
Thanks!

I’m pretty sure it’s just the Math+CR

they officially don’t consider it, but they will still see it when you send your scores.

oh I see … so they only consider your score out of 1600 ?
what a bummer :(

well, if you did really well (or not so well) on the writing section, they might still let it influence their decision (they’re human, after all).

Great, thanks for the clarification! :)

Where did you guys find this out (writing score isn’t loked at by cornell):?

These guys just clarified it for me… but here’s a link from Collegeboard saying that the essay component is not looked at… and also the average writing score is blank… :

That sucks, my Writing is my best score.
