I was browsing the Yale forum and I saw that likely letters for their SCEA round were being sent.
Does Cornell send likely letters to anyone? For the ED round?

not for ED i don't think.

I got one for RD

You mean last year, right?
Was it an academic likely or an athletic likely?

academic likely. CoE

It'd be kinda pointless to send them out for ED since they already have guaranteed yield

Very true, nd.
How are you liking Cornell, chendrix?

it's beyond awesome.

I'm so glad I'm here. Even the cold weather is fun :). The people are extremely nice, the campus is beautiful, the classes are interesting. It's so easy to have a good time here.

I don't know how applicable it is to everyone else, but as an engineer, I sort of feel progressively worn down academically through the semester, because the classes are challenging, but not to the point of hating it.

And the semester is just long enough to be able to bear through it and get a full month to recharge :D

Hope you get in and love it as much as I do, ChandlerBing

That's so good to hear!
I'll be in a tough major as well as doing premed if I get in, so I'll have a lot of hard science stuff.

Eh, I'm getting frigid weather where I am, so being at Cornell will just be normal + all the awesome!

Haha wow, it's already the end of the semester for you guys.

Me too man!

They send likely letters for ED athletic recruits. My son's likely letter arrived three years ago this week ... the day before Thanksgiving!
