Does CS 1301 satisfy the CS 1371 requirement for engineers?

<p>If you too CS 1301 and are an engineering major (not Industrial), would you also have to take 1371? I know the engineering majors require CS 1371 because it uses MATLAB.</p>

<p>I’m certain you would still need to take CS 1371 regardless if you’ve completed CS 1301. From what I hear, 1371 is a pain, but MATLAB is essential for engineers.</p>

<p>Thanks. I found out that there is a CS 1171 class which is a MATLAB class that seems to be for people who took 1301.</p>
