Does Dartmouth accept Nov's SAT for ED?

I really wonder this problem

i have also been wondering about this... so i'll bump it :D

somebody, please answer?

i sent them an email regarding this same question...

haven't heard anything back yet

I'll call this week, but if anyone knows please tell.

Their website SAYS they'll take the tests up until january, but that doesn't make much sense since we'll hear back by December 15.

the January SAT score acception thing probably refers to the RD...
can ANYBODY please tell us whether November SAT scores are accepted at ED?

from the dartmouth website
"You may apply for Early Decision even if you have not yet taken two SAT II: Subject Tests. You must, however, take two SAT II's no later than January of your senior year. These test results will be used in further evaluating the applications of deferred Early Decision applicants and for academic placement of accepted candidates."

http://www.dartmouth.edu/apply/admissions/firstyear/early.html

this is still murky because it doesn't really say whether or not they are used in the admission processs.

My concern is that they will considered lower SAT IIs to be all I need for applying and that they will not look at the new scores

Last year they did consider November scores for ED. But, score reports were available two weeks after testing date last year; it is now three weeks due to a second scanning. Definitely call and ask.

I've got it written down for tomorrow, I'll post what they tell me

Thanks!

Okay, I just got off the phone with them:
Will the October and November SATs be considered for Early Decision?: YES

However the November one is not guarantee because they do not get them until the 28th. They will receive them before they send out decisions, but the lady said because they start reading applications when they recieve your completed paperwork (or online work)
(My guess is that they will see that you are signed up for the november subject tests and make a note of that on your application file)

Also, as long as you put down Dartmouth as a score recipient (which i did for both October and November) there is no need to send the scores from the college board. Dartmouth will get the scores online the same day we do.

Then do we not need to rush the scores?

it didn't sound like it, they get the scores the same day we do, online
