Since my Academic Advisor apparently "forgot" I scheduled a meeting with her and left early, I'm going to ask this here.
Anyhow, double major=no minor?
Also, how important is the decision of picking the major (of the two in your double major) to receive the degree, since you're limited to one degree?

You can double major and have a minor, if you have time to fit in all of your classes + general education courses.

I thought it was required to have a minor

You are required to have a minor if you have only (1) major. If you double major, you don’t need to have a minor. Then there are certain programs of studies don’t require a minor if they are labeled “Intensive” – like most of the sciences.

What are you majoring in JenniferRU? Depending on your studies, you might not be required to have a minor! (unless you want to for the heck of it :p)

Cell biology and neuroscience give me good news!!

Hmm ::looks at majors and minors page and finds Cell biology and neuroscience:: “credit intensive major”!
*
“. . . Effective for students graduating in January 2010 and beyond, the requirement for a minor may be waived for students completing extraordinarily credit-intensive majors. Credit intensive majors are indicated on the Majors and Minors page for SAS students. Students in credit intensive majors are strongly encouraged to complete a minor, even though they are not required to do so.”*

So, if you want to, you can pursue a minor, but you’re not required to =)

here’s the page that states that it is credit intense

Here’s stuff about the degree requirement (page where I got the quote):
