if you drink, do you feel like you can do anything? do you have less resistance to doing things? do you end up doing things like downlaoding every little thing you come across or something? do you run outside and do weird things when you're drunk? are the effects additive with each additional unit?

um yeah, haven't you ever seen a drunk person?
i mean i don't drink but its pretty much common knowledge that drinking lets you do things that you'd never do if you were sober

lol or maybe you're drunk

wine? are you 80 or something? bust out with the grey goose.

Okay. But do you need to actually get drunk to feel unrestrained? What is the difference in dosage needed BETWEEN getting drunk and getting a hangover? Also I'm Asian and I'm worried that I may only be able to sip a little bit before getting whatever reactions a good percent of asians get to alcohol..

Also how long does it take for wine to expire?

This is a troll....

no, he is just like that lol

btw i pm'd you ik

Wine is the best thing ever invented, and hard to drink too much of because you can take it slow. Have one glass, see how you feel, have another. Enjoy it. It's not like you'll be a little tipsy, and then after the next glass be throwing up and falling down stairs. That's liquor.

^hahaha false. my stepmom drank a whole bottle of wine last saturday then threw up.

You should really get out a little.

WOWOWOWOW

wikipedia please

I'm a pretty small person. I'm also pretty nerdy. I've never actually consumed alcohol outside my house, but my parents are perfectly comfortable with my drinking inside it, and the drink is almost always wine. I get tipsy after a cup. After two cups I'm practically hallucinating (well, not exactly, but you get the point). To my credit, though, I've never had a hangover. There's always college, right?

What I really don't understand is how people like its taste. The only reason I drink wine is to get drunk. Period. It accomplishes the task much more quickly than beer, and hard liquor isn't exactly something I'd drink.

The effects of one or two cups fade in about 30-45 minutes.

Expire as in go bad (like milk)? Haven't you seen any movies where they ask for the old wine because it gets better with age (well some do)?

The amount it takes to get drunk depends on the person. You also need to factor in if you've ate or not. Wine hangovers are worse than beer hangovers. Just start with a glass and then see how you feel before having another.

I don't do crazy stuff after drinking.

I've had one hangover in my life, after three mixed drinks. I never wanted one again and never had more than two drinks in the course of an evening again.

On the tipsy thing, I never liked being tipsy. And, on two drinks spaced over two or more hours, I only became tipsy if I started with an empty stomach - in fact, on a really empty stomach (8 PM and nothing since breakfast), I have become tipsy with one drink.

Bottled, it lasts years and years. Once opened, 3-5 days.

If you are getting drunk now off of two glasses of wine or three mixed drinks, you might want to work on that before heading off to college. Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights for lots (but not all) college students= 6-8 shots pregaming (usually in dorm or apartment before heading out to party) + loads of drinks at the parties.

If some of the people who posted above plan on partying in college you might want to work on building your tolerance up while you can, otherwise your first weekend in college is going to absolutely destroy you. That's one of the problems with the 21 as the drinking age; people go to college who haven't really drank before and get hammered to the point of alcohol poisoning because they don't know what they are doing/are inexperienced.

Of course, if you don't plan on partying too hard in college then don't worry about it. Also, girls naturally have a lower alcohol tolerance so they can get away with drinking less too.

All in all, it's different for everyone.

/end thread.

Not with the amounts I've had to drink, which aren't that large.

It does make family holidays easier to sit through, though. Just an observation.
