I took a Dual Enrollment class during the summer and I got an A. Would this count as part of my UW GPA? It'd be nice if it did, as my GPA would be .01 points higher.

You should ask your counselor. It probably depends on the school.

Each school district is different on how they handle college classes taken while in HS. Ask your GC or read your school catalog.

I don’t think DE classes count as part of my HS’s GPA. However, my HS does not calculate an unweighted GPA, so I was wondering if colleges took DE classes into account when looking at your letter grades.

I would be surprised if any university admissions committee did not count a transferable[1] college or dual-enrollment course as anything less than an AP or honors course.

[1] I.e. not a high school level course like precalculus or lower level math, or a non-transferable vocational education course.
