Does each blue book come with different practice tests?

I already have the newest version of the blue book, but I was thinking of getting another, older version online for cheap so I would have more practice tests. Would each test still be the same or do they print different ones for each version?

No, the second and third version (and I believe first) all have the same practice tests. Sorry :(

If you would like to, you can buy the old Red book from the pre 2005 SAT. The analogies aren’t relevant but the math and passage questions could still be helpful.

There have only been two editions of the Blue Book. The first had 8 tests, the second (and current) edition has 10 tests. Seven of the tests are shared by both books. One of the tests in the first edition was removed, and three new, previously administered SATs were added to the second edition.

So if you bought the first edition, you would only be getting one new test.

The College Board has alerted our shipping department that a new edition is due later this year (I think. I can’t find the email with the exact date. August, maybe?). My guess is that they will remove some of the seven original tests and replace them with previously-administered tests, mainly because those seven were never administered. They were written in 2005 when the test switched format.
