Does early action help?

I am applying to schools this semester and I was wondering if early action will improve my chances of getting the full tuition scholarships?

A number of colleges that offer merit aid require that you apply early or by some certain date in the Fall of your senior year to even be considered for merit aid, so in that sense applying early not just helps but is necessary; otherwise it likely makes no difference. As to whether merit aid is offered by a college, you need to check with the college, e.g., high ranked privates usually offer none, and many colleges that do offer merit aid generally provide very few or no full tuition scholarships.

Not really. You just have to apply by a certain date for scholarships. Applying early--not early action--will help at schools with rolling admissions.
