Does Early Action/Priority Application Deadline increase chances?

<p>I'm planning on applying to UIUC. I think my GPA is a bit below average, but higher than average SAT and EC's (I can program in C and develop iPhone apps. I made youtube videos on technology that have been viewed over 1.2 million times).</p>

<p>Should I apply EA or RD? I've heard Early action/priority deadline increases chances, but if not, I'd rather apply Regular Decision which gives me much more time to procrastinate, LOL.</p>

<p>There is a slightly higher chance of acceptance, and I say slightly, if you apply for priority admission.</p>

<p>Since I’ve just explained that chances are slightly better during the priority admission period, why would I recommend RD?</p>
