Does Elite Help Alot??

i'm currently taking SAT classes at elite, but i'm super nervous for the real SAT (even though it's still a while away haha). but just wondering, for those of you who went to Elite, did it really help you improve in the end and get a good score on the SAT? did you think the practice tests and weekly workbooks were useful? tnx!

Not for the ones I know.

It really depends on the teachers. Elite’s material is better than average.

What’s elite?

Based on your grammar, you need all the help you can get.

Their lessons are better than average. They use a lot of their own made-up tests. The lessons and tests give you a lot of material, but the drawback is that they contain material that’s not even on the SAT. Elite’s biggest pros are just getting you to take lots of practice tests and to study a lot–things which you could do yourself with enough self-discipline.

It’s better to just study for the SAT yourself or hire private tutors. There’s plenty of official SAT tests to work with. You can also get good material from the best prep books.

Overall, Elite is way too expensive. They don’t even pay their teachers enough, given how much they charge students for their classes.

I can personally attest to the success of the Elite academy in Northridge. The teachers are very very helpful and they don’t just give you tips to help you solve the problem. They give you the format or the equation (the simplified version instead of the long and over-complex school equations) I guess to help you solve it. The kids are very nice and not so competitive as I thought it would be. There were many Asians where I went haha. But I went to the 2100+ boot camp. Judging from what my friends say about about the regular class it is also good but that is only if you need help to get to the respected scores of around 1900 and 2000.

Also my friends say that the Elite academy in Valencia is also very good for the same reasons as I listed above.

Academy in I think it was San Francisco is also very good as it received the recognition of having the most number of 2400s in one concentrated academy. I THINK it was San Francisco. If not it was a city that started with an S :P
