I am applying to the Emory Scholar's Program and I was wondering what they look at.

Here are my SAT scores btw:

Jan 2007:
CR: 680
M: 640
W: 590
Total: 1910

June 2007:
CR: 660
M: 710
W: 720
Total: 2090

Oct 2007:
CR: 760
M: 670
W: 710 (12 on the essay)
Total: 2140

Best Superscores:
CR: 760
M: 710
W: 720
Total: 2190

So are my SAT scores competitive enough for Emory Scholars or not? (I also have good SATII, GPA, Extra-curricualr, etc.)

Thanks for the info.

They said they superscore the best CR and M section, and they don't care about the W at all. They would only use it if there were validity concerns about the Essay.

Yes; ohioguy218 is right. Emory ignores the writing part completely. Emory does superscore the SAT, but only takes the highest ACT in one sitting.

So based on my SAT do you think I have a shot for the Emory Scholar's Program or no?

so u got a 1470 basically. You have a shot at scholars, I definitely wouldn't rule it out, even though most scholars have >1500
