Does essay HAVE to be quirky?

ok guys I have a problem.... I just wrote an essay with the MLKjr prompt referring to a book I just read about the injustice of our correctional system and the like. including stuff about the human personality bit and how our system is dehumanizing, anyway, is this too bland and generic? should I rewrite? My other two responses were offbeat, but I didn't want to overdo it

If you wrote a solid, organized, and thoughtful essay then don't worry about it. They aren't judging you by your quirkiness; I don't know who on these boards mentioned it, but it isn't true. They are judging your ability to think differently and to show you have room for growth, but if your essay reflects your analytical ability and strengths, then don't worry about it.

thanks! I won't scrap it then:)
