Does ethnicity make a big difference?

I want to object at the use of the word “race.” As far as I know of it, I only know the human species homo sapiens. Skin color is only about the few alleles that direct pigment production, just as someone’s blood group is about the few alleles that direct the production of cellular markers.

Now, if one wants to argue about how some cultural aspects need to be present in a Cornell class, fine. But such cultural enrichment is not completely dependent on what you call “race”.
