I read somewhere, maybe here, that the ETS never has the same letter answer three times in a row (15,16,17 cannot all be C). Is this true? I should check my PSAT scoresheet.

No, that's not true... I seem to remember getting 5 of the same answer in a row before. I think they may even do it on purpose, to make you nervous (and it sure does).

i was reading up your score and it says that three answers in a row is the maximum and that they have never had 4 or more of the same answer in a row.

Now that I look back at my PSATs, that does appear to be true. Though there are 3 in a row fairly often, it seems.

thanks evad and fueler. damn if it was three i would save many more points.

hum, weirdos :). When I do my tests I just do the question, bubble it, block it out of my head completely, go onto the next. I don't pay attention to the patterns of bubbles at all, although I have a friend who got really stuck and made 'pretty zigzags' on his paper...

But anyway, I'm sure 3 in a row is perfectly legit. I remember 10 reals answers having quite a few of those.

I remember having four times in a row in my physics test. I did not know which one to change and found out later that one was wrong. I did get 800 anyway.
