Does every REA applicant get contacted for an alumni interview?

My impression is that they do but wondering and also when REA decisions will be released.

i haven’t been contacted for an interview yet for REA either—getting a little nervous because i know other applicants from my area have already finished their interviews weeks ago. are you in the same boat?

also, i think they’re released mid december, but no exact date yet.

what state are you?

im in texas, you? i live close to a pretty large city, so i feel like i should have been contacted by now.

Did not get an interview request here either :grimacing:

In past years the vast majority of applicants (> 90%) have been offered interviews; if an applicant isn’t contacted, it’s generally because interviewers aren’t available. But make sure that you check the spam folder for your email account!

If you don’t get offered an interview, keep in mind that the admissions office says that it won’t hurt your chances of admission; the admissions staffers know that it wasn’t your fault. (For what it’s worth, I was admitted REA without an interview 30-something years ago.)

thanks for the info! do you think there’s still time for interviewers to contact applicants? another applicant from my school has finished their interview quite a long time ago, which worried me a bit.

It’s a possibility, but I can’t tell you whether it’s a small possibility or a larger one. For what it’s worth, the chairs of my regional alumni group have asked members to complete all interviews and submit their reports to the PU admission office by November 29.

just got my interview, so they’re still rolling out! do you think that the lateness is an indication of anything, or nah?
