I did not get in, I got offered the Wait list/ Blinn Team option.

Does everyone who dosent get in get offered these?
Or is it a step that only a few get offered? If so, how many? And how many get In after that?

I got a 1180 on my combined CR and M SAT scores
I got a 26 on the ACT
Im 146/350 with a 93.2 avg.

Do i have a good chance of getting eather taken of the Wait List or Offered the Blinn Team option?

I think everyone with decent stats gets the waitlist, but then again idk.

but yea if not waitlist, i would think you would get in on the blinnteam thing.
Just keep your Fingers crossed hopefully more people opt out for other schools

The A&M admissions counselor told me that this year, 7000 prospective students were placed on the waiting list, a new record apparently. He says usually, roughly half accept the waitlist, and they go from there. So hopefully those who have NO DESIRE to go don’t click “Yes – Waitlist” because that’s just taking up space right?

And no, not everyone gets offered wait list. Some people get flat out rejected, but apparently yesterday was a “wait list notification” day or something haha

o thats seems about right, hopefully i get in i got waitlisted earlier this month, i think it was the 7th but it may have been on the 12th-13th.

not really amazed, i know someone who got in off the list last year. it really just depends on the people who have already gotten in. but the numbers in general might be entirely different this year but who knows

A lot of people seemed to have been waitlisted this year more than usual. Your class rank is what is really pulling you down. Don’t think you would get in off the waitlist.

yeah i was kinda thinking that. Gosh it stinks, to get in to even top 25% at my school you have to have at least a 98 or something crazy like that.

Do you think that the admissions office will take that in to consideration?
