Does everyone have their popcorn ready for Harry & Meghan?

Even the Bishop of Canterbury had to speak about about MM lies, I didn’t see her Oprah interview but apparently she claimed she’s married in the backyard 2 days before. Maybe people get a dopamine hit when they lie, because they do it often.

I was sucked into watching the Oprah and I can’t say it made me think that Harry and Meghan were worth watching. I don’t hate them or love them, I think the jury is out, but that there was a lot of bad behavior on both sides. Interestingly we just finished watching the episode in The Crown where after seeing Charles being a (insert bad word here) for episode after episode or just being whiny, they finally show the good side of him with charities that actually seem to do real work. For what it’s worth doing a documentary where you are appearing natural, but actually there a bunch of cameras in your face all the time rubs me the wrong way.

Based upon this recent awkward photo, I can think of one couple not planning a night of Netflix and chill.

I was surprised that they got so many people (her mother, friends) to do the interviews.

Still don’t see where it will change many minds and will do more harm with other royals. I feel bad that the kids will not have their cousins growing up. I think even Harry would have to admit that his cousins, both older and younger, were important to him while growing up as they shared similar experiences, time with the Queen, balcony events.

My own kids adore their cousins. I think William’s and Harry’s kids would have benefited from being raise ‘with’ (not necessarily next door, but in a friendlier environment) William, Beatrice, and Eugene’s kids. Not sure if Charles has a relationship with Harry’s kids, and if not, that leaves the kids with just one grandparent, Doria. Sad.

I think their kids will benefit having their parents story told by them and not by vicious media.
I think their treatment has been terrible and continues to be terrible. I wish them best of luck just as I would wish best of luck to any stranger. I didn’t get why every ill intent has been read into anything this woman says or does.

I would suggest reading Tom Bower’s book about Harry and Meghan. He has 80 documented sources that he has spoken with, spent time with, researched, footnoted, etc who detail the behavior, untruths, etc of this couple. It’s funny because M and H love to sue people, especially people in the press. They have several lawsuits pending right now. However, they are not suing Bower. I wonder why? Because he has the facts that cannot be disproven.
People who haven’t followed M and H closely over the years buy into their victim narrative. If you do a deep dive into their history, the facts about their behavior are brought to light and race has nothing to do with it.

I think even Oprah and their friends are distancing themselves with this couple now.

Totally off topic somewhat but I’m not a hugger. Actually nobody in my family or my husband’s family hugs. No Brits and no royalty here. If we’re going to stereotype, I guess my husband’s family slightly fits … reserved German immigrants (early 1900s). On the other hand, I’m from solid “Let the good times roll” New Orleans and surrounding areas; we should hug all over the place. I wonder why we don’t.

I wonder what Meghan would have thought of us. (And glad I’m not being publicly critiqued.)

But I digress …

The Brits my husband and I are close friends do hug me when they see me. I don’t blame them, I have a sweet face and I don’t tell lies, lol.

I haven’t read the entire thread, but it does crack me up that people who claim not to care about H and M continue to post about them.

I said I wouldn’t watch their Netflix show, but I didn’t say I wasn’t interested in them.

I won’t give their platforms any more traffic and I haven’t. After the Oprah interview, which I watched, I said I was not going to give their endeavors any more traffic.

Too many inconsistencies in the Oprah interview and I read about it a lot. Actually. I’m making an informed choice about who I choose to believe.

But I won’t give them a pass, either of them. It’s not just her, he is part of this couple and is as culpable as she is.

I don’t even watch the Crown even, let alone Oprah and the Netflix series, I get my information online somehow, I really didn’t seek it. It’s from my newsfeed.
