Does everyone snap like this?

Me again…appreciate the responses and perspectives. Our school does not rank and I don’t believe there is significant grade inflation. Based on the honor roll/high honor roll list that gets published in the local paper guessing she is likely in the top quartile of her class. She is not a good standardized test taker. She has anxiety as well as processing issues in addition to a physical disability. She circles answers in the booklet and someone fills out the score sheet. The SAT require it all to be done in one sitting - a recipe for disaster so we have focused on ACT which is spread out over several days in small chunks.

I suppose part of the reason I am stressed is hearing things like she is in the lower quartile of the schools on her list. Of course we recognize with an ACT score of 24 she may well be for schools like Haverford and Vassar but is that true for test optional schools? At this point she would be as happy to be accepted to Denison as Vassar.

Agree with everyone that reaching out about accommodations once there is critical.
