That may not be determinative but is a factor to be considered in fit.some test optional schools have scores submitted only by top scoring candidates but others ask all enrollees to submit their scores after acceptance, Depends on the college. In any event the score range is an indicator of the academic strength of the student body. Personally, I wouldn’t send my child to a school where I knew she would be in the bottom quarter even if she could be admitted, but others differ in their view on the issue. Good luck.
