Some people were discussing questions on the SAT and it seems that many of those were not on my test. I assumed that everyone was taking the same test but just the sections were in different orders. Is this the case or do different tests have completely different sections? Just trying to understand the SAT better.

bump

Yes, except for the Essay and experimental sections.
There are 4 different Essays each test date.

As far as I know, the general SATs only randomize the ordering of the sections. I can tell you that with the LSATs, in addition to having the sections randomly ordered, the experimental sections differ between different tests. That’s probably what’s going on with the SATs as well and it can give you the impression that people are taking completely different tests.
