Does Fall quarter count towards the 45 units?

If i were to apply as a trasnfer for FALL 2008,

i would apply this fall, some schools require transfers students to have at least 45 units completed.

So, my question is do the units i take during this upcoming FALL 07 count toward the 45 total units? The quarter will not end by the time i submit my apps. Or is this summer going to be my last chance to make it to 45 units?

if you want to apply for fall 08, you just have to have MINIMUM 90 transferrable quarter units (60 semester units) BEFORE SPRING 08. it doesn't matter how many units you have at the time you apply. on the application, it asks you to state all your units taken and future courses. if everything adds up to 90quarter/60semester, you are set. make sure that you know WHAT is transferrable and what is not. for my CCC (de anza college), all the courses numbered 1-49 were transferrable, anything 50+ were not. example math 49a (pre-calc) is transferrable, but not math51 (trig). plan your future schedule based on this and try to complete as many GEs AND pre-reqs as you can (if it is required/highly recommended for your intended school).

I'm go to De Anza College as well. =)

Thanks for the info. Oh, so the 45 units are not strictly enforced by UCs? How many units do the majority of applicants have by the time they apply, excluding fall quarter?
