Does financial aid hurts?

Does it hurt when you apply to non need-based school, such as WUSTL?

WUSTL does have need based FA for transfers, although it is limited:

[Transfer Students](http://admissions.wustl.edu/FinancialAssistance/Pages/Transfer.aspx)

“Washington University offers financial assistance to transfer students who need it. The financial assistance notification will be sent within 2 or 3 days of the admission notification if the financial assistance application is complete. Be sure to keep copies of everything you send. Late applicants will be considered only if funds are available.”

Perhaps I’m missing something, but I don’t see anywhere on WUSTL’s website where it says that they have “need aware” admissions for transfer students. If they do not state that they are need aware, then it will not hurt your admissions chances to apply for FA.

For WashU, I was under the impression that they were only financially need-aware for international transfers, not domestic.

good 2 know!
btw, when is the deadline? 4/15 or 3/15??

I broke my leg after I applied for financial aid.
