I'm a German-born Asian student currently studying in England and am looking to apply to America.

I've done some research on the requirements for entry, but was wondering if financial limitations had any impact on applications? E.g. Raised by a single parent & first-generation immigrants to England, therefore can't afford tuition, SAT classes, graphing calculator etc.

Also, another question, would a score of let's say 2200 be more impressive for an international applicant (due to differences in curriculum) or would it not matter whether or not you studied in the US?

Does 5 years of varsity-level sport count for anything?

FINALLY, do you think I have a chance at getting into Harvard, Yale or Princeton (I'm applying there because they offer the best financial aid for international students, not because I'm an arrogant so-and-so) based on this info?

4.0 GPA, National-level awards in Maths, Varsity rugby, diverse background, raised without a father (is this OTT?), volunteer for leading UK charities etc
