This is a bit last minute, as today (Nov. 1) is the deadline for Fordham’s early action application. I originally planned to apply to all my schools through regular decision, as my grades aren’t too strong and early apps are recommended for those who perform well academically. However, if I am able to apply both EA and RD to the same school without hurting my chances of getting in, I’d like to do so in case there’s the chance that I can see any potential acceptances sooner. I read on Vanderbilt’s website that whether schools allow two applications or not is up to the individual school. I was unable to find Fordham’s status on this through regular web search. Does anyone know about it?
If your grades are not strong, apply RD not EA.
Clarified: If I apply to Fordham through EA and don’t get accepted, can I still apply through RD without any harm to my chances?
If you are Denied EA then you cannot apply RD. If you are Deferred EA then you are automatically considered fro RD.
I just posted the same question but this question wording is much easier to understand.
