Does Founding a Club/Business Constitute as a "Good EC?"

I'm applying to a handful of Ivies and other top colleges and have received mixed reviews on the strength of founding three clubs and two businesses on college applications.

I helped found my school's branch of English Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society, and Make-A-Wish Foundation and currently serve as Committee Heads/ Vice Presidents in all three clubs.

Outside of school, I have also founded a tutoring business specializing in working with international students who attend the local community college. I am in charge of all the recruiting, supervising and paying all of the tutors and, sorry to brag, retain a reputation for being the most highly sought-after trilingual (Spanish, Chinese, English) tutor.

My other business focuses on my absolute love and borderline obsession for Asian arts and culture. I make a wide variety of paper sculptures and origami as well as calligraphy and paper-cutting that I sell to both big businesses and private buyers. My business has expanded so much that I have a waiting list for my work.

Aside from these EC's, I'm in almost every single honor society that my school offers (applied due to personal interest, not because of prestige) as well as several other clubs, where I have been an active participant since freshman year.

My major concern is that my major EC's aren't "strong enough" or just are flat out "weak." Are they considered "good EC's"?

Thanks in advance!

No you have to cure cancer, sorry.

ThatGuyOverThere is sarcasm your other name? :D

Do you think it is? Of course it is…

A solid EC involves something you’re heavily involved in and can prove it. If you founded your Olympiad program and are current president and have several awards, that’s a good EC. If you did research at a prestigious university involving stem cells or something, that’s a solid EC.

Your ECs are strong, you want to make sure you just don’t have a laundry list.
EX:
national honor society (member)
environmental club
math club
track team
recreational basketball
art club
anime club

The clubs don’t do anything, they just kind of show you showed up for one meeting and bailed.
