^ I have heard that before. I really don’t know what to think about it though; it seems more conjecture than science? If I were true though the difference would be, so minute, just like the physical difference in Blacks vs. Whites. Under completely controlled settings, whites and blacks have the same physical attributes, stamina and so on. I can’t remember what textbook I read that in, but I know it to be true.

Its only conjecture because its situated in an area of academia described as being ULTRA EXTREME politically incorrect - however academia will accept variations of interpretations of the somewhat similar theories- so long as they describe lack of development as mostly tied into lack of connection to trade routes, which avoids any racial implications - which sometimes are best avoided because they can be abused by racist groups to spin a certain point of view

Its highly likely to be true over 10 of thousands or perhaps 100's of thousand of years - as in that case environment has a chance to in effect work itself into genetics

The case for the Pilgrims in America working it into their genes would be weaker, simply because genes (unlike environment) are very slow to change)

The quote "necessity is the mother of invention" has far deeper implications, for example when there is little necessity to succeed.

Meanwhile no one can dispute that equatorial regions, particularly ones far away from ocean areas - have been exceptionally slow to develop in relative terms

The case of Egypt is interesting because while its

correction: Egypt was strange because it had advancement that stopped and its connection to trade routes was in fact a major factor in their development
