Does Georgetown have Quotas?

I know certain competitive schools will only accept a couple individuals from the same region/school. Does Georgetown do the same?

Hard quotas for a specific region or secondary school would inherently be arbitrary and thus open a university up to liability if discovered. For that reason, no college has a hard quota of this sort, Georgetown included. Rough targets/bands are not the same thing as hard quotas.

You don’t know that; you assume that. It is an urban legend. No college has a min/max/quota per school, although if pst history shows 1-2 people per year admitted to a particular college, you will not go wrong in assuming that 5 will not be admitted this year.

No, they do not have hard quotas. You can check Naviance, if your school offers it, for a general idea. For my high school, it was between 1-3 each year but then the year after I was accepted no one got in - so it’s not a perfect science. I would recommend focusing more on getting your stats within range of Georgetown’s for GPA, SAT/ACT, etc and developing strong extracurriculars rather than trying to predict the number of people who will get in.
