Does Georgetown offer in-state benefits to Maryland residents?

If I understand right, the school is actually in DC.

No, no one anywhere gets any special benefits.

Wow! Not even DC residents

In-state tuition benefits are generally only given by state universities, under the logic that in-state residents have been paying (well, in most cases, their parents have been paying) state taxes that go toward supporting the university, whereas out-of-state students have not. Private universities do not get state government funds (generally speaking, aside from specific one-off contracts or other narrow agreements), so the same logic does not apply.
