Does Georgetown prefer private high school kids?

<p>No - Georgetown does not prefer private school applicants. It is a highly selective school and many well prepared applicants come from private schools. Also, many of the toip students in Catholic schools aspire to Georgetown, but the university looks at all applicants. There are a lot of public school kids at Georgetown.</p>

<p>I concur with Glido. Both my son and his roommate who are new freshmen this year graduated from public high schools.</p>
