I’m thinking about applying for A.A degrees as someone suggest me to it saying it’ll increase my chance of getting into a college. Is it true? I’m thinking about entering UF, FSU, USF, UCF, etc.
Maybe. First you apply as a freshman and go through the freshman review process. If you are admitted, great, if not you can opt in to a transfer review and be evaluated that way.
Honestly, imo it won’t increase your chances any more than a large amount of AP classes would. Chose whichever path you think you will be happiest in.
Fried rice isn’t correct- for UF, they will review your admission application for both freshmen and transfer consideration. If you didn’t have the AA, you would lose that 2nd look.
DE classes are considered higher risk than AP because they can affect your post graduation plans whereas AP classes, if the test is unsuccessful, pretty much die off after HS. But the articulation agreement in Florida is pretty solid and good way to risk it for 2 years paid…
My youngest is doing that.
mom2boys1999 you are absolutely correct. My son was declined freshman admissions last semester. However, due to his duel enrollment AA degree, he received a second look. He is currently pursuing his business finance degree.
