Does going to "better" cc improve your chance of admission?

isn't 6 flags about to close down or something?

better not, i have a season pass.

"isn't 6 flags about to close down or something?"

it is. They are closing down at the end of this year.
Heard their land price skyrocketed. They are selling it, and moving to Bakersfield.

pfft.. Bakersfield..

Awww that sucks, well i better go soon before they close down!
And is Bakersfield a little up north? Near Fresno?

You'd never think a place like 6 flags in So Cal could close down..
It's odd. I mean, you see soo many people going there all the time. But you never know..

I mean seriously.
SMC counselors... i dun even know why they exist at the first place.
Whenever i ask a question, only thing she says is "go to SMC site, and you'll find all the info you need", and when I ask another question, she goes "Do you understand that it's all in the website?" and seemed annoyed by me.

really ***? they are worse than UCLA. At least UCLA counselors were helpful regarding the information i need. SMC counselors...

Before meeting the counselor: Excited + FULL OF QUESTIONS
After meeting the counselor: Unhappy + FULL OF QUESTIONS

SMC counselors are total asshats.
they should be fired.

bakersfield = centralcal .. oh well, at least we have knotts.

yeah a lot of them are idiots. But some are decent.

Soo many people go to SMC..
I had this one idiotic friend who lived in Lincoln Heights, somewhere closer to East L.A.
His first year out of high school, he COMMUTES to SMC with the damn Metro bus. Can you believe that?
I ask him how long it takes him to get there, he said 2-3 hours on the Metro bus. He doesn't have a car
I asked him why don't you go to at least somewhere closer like PCC, LACC or ELAC..
And he says "well I want to get a new experience and meet new people"
In the next year he stopped going to SMC and ended up going to LACC.

Oh and another friend of mine, his first year, he commuted to SMC, 40 minutes.
2nd year he went to Pierce, which is 5 minits away from him. He said SMC was too far.

So many people just keep doing this, and during the 2nd year, they realize it's just too damn far. And there's other CCCs that are worth considering too.

DHL3 you go to COC now right? How do you like it?

I go to Glendale and I love it, all the counselours there are extremely helpful, and the UCLA conselours regularly come over and are always more than willing to help.

COC has the highest transfer rate to USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford and all the Ivies in all of Santa Clarita.

i dunno UCR kinda owns in the transfer process.

No wonder it's so expensive there!
