Does GWU track interest?

Does GWU track student interest? For example if I'm on the mailing list, visit several times, etc. does GWU take this into some consideration?

Some schools do some don't.

yes, they take interest into consideration.

interest is perhaps more important to GW than most other schools. On part 1 of the application, it asks if you have visited Washington DC and/or GW before, and to list times and dates. Showing interest definitely helps; one of the key aspects of the GW application is a 500 word essay on "why GW."

Yes yes, it is important, but I think his question is whether or not they keep actual records for every time one officially visits (tours). That, I'm not so sure about.

No, I really don't think they keep track of whether you came or not, and even if they do, I don't think admission counselors will look that information up when viewing your application. They ask you whether you visited (and I think they ask when too), but the campus is pretty much part of DC, so many people "visit" unofficially. I visited, but they have no record of that.
