k...looked up vermont transit...it says they have locations there, but the map (http://www.vermonttransit.com/fares.html) does not have Hanover on it! sybbie, do you know which of the towns on the map is closest to burlington?

i have my reasons...never you fear....

Hi Sybbie - Yes, I am so excited! (But glad that Dartmouth continues to be such a favorable experience for her - despite finals- that parting it for break is again a bit of a wrench. Just the way it should be!)

Bird,

If you were coming from NYC, Greyhound, which stops at Hanover, in front of the hanover inn, also stops at white river junction. at wrj, you would get a connecting bus on vermont transit to burlington (I have been riding on NYC mass transit way to long)

ooh, why thank you, sybbie. just wondering. a good friend lives in burlington.

Is there a Subway/Quizno's?

there is a Subway, no Quizno

what other social things can we do around dartmouth?

how long does it take to travel to big cities around dartmouth usually.

If by big you mean metropolis: Montreal, 1 1/2-2 hours

nah. not going back to Canada :( i'm from Canada...

Boston- about 2 hours

NYC driving about 4 hours, Greyhound, most of the day (7 hrs)
