Does Harvard interview ALL applicants?

Does Harvard interview all applicants? That seems like a monumental task to me. If one is interviewed does that mean that one has met a cut of some sort?
It seems like if an applicant is really not worth the effort, then it would be a waste of time.

not everyone is interviewed..and being called for an interview does not mean your chance is higher. If you're interviewed...it doesn't signify anything.

then, why do they interview?? They wanted to see if they should reject or not??

I also need help with this question. As I have just been asked for interview. Can someone help please?

If there isn't an available alumni in your area, you probably won't receive an interview.

Harvard interviews in order to see another side of its applicants. As you may have noticed, Harvard applicants are generally the top of their class and have excellent ECs. Since they receive 20,000 of these applications, the interview just allows the admissions officers to see how that particular applicant is.

If you don't receive an interview, don't worry about it. It won't affect your chances.

If there is an alum in your area, they will call you. If there isn't, they don't require you to travel more than is reasonable to meet one. Many rural applicants, and especially international ones, don't get interviews unless they visit the campus and talk to an adcom.

Harvard's interview counts more than other school's interview. You could search on CC to get more information.
