I see that the Harvard College has class visits, but since I’m applying to engineering/applied science program I want to visit classes in that faculty than the College itself. But I don’t see any information/links about Harvard SEAS classes visit (just general tours) on their webpage. Does SEAS not have class visits?
That’s misconception #1. You (and every other potential undergraduate) are applying to Harvard College.
The list of courses that you can sit in on, as you’ve undoubtedly seen, is found here:
https://college.harvard.edu/visitors-guide-larger-lectures
These classes were chosen because they are large lectures, and the presence of a visitor would not be disruptive. There are several CS and stats courses, many taken by engineering students, which are available for a visit.
@skieurope I meant to ask if there were more engineering courses open for visits since most courses listed were non-engineering courses. I was wondering if there was a separate course sheet for engineering courses specifically and guess not.
ENG-SCI 139 is on the list. With the exception of that course, the average enrollment for engineering classes this fall is 23. Again, Harvard allows visitors to unobtrusively observe large lecture classes. So the good news from the student (and instructor) PoV is that most courses at Harvard are small enough that there won’t be an endless stream of visitors coming in and out.
