I’ve just finished my first year in my college. I am thinking of transferring to a different college at my junior year. Will they see my high school grade, sat and ec or is this dependent on college that I am aiming at?
This depends on the target college/university. You have to check each case separately.
^ True. Most schools only look at college grades when you have two years already in, but some look back at everything.
If you are transferring for Junior year, high school grades will still matter but will definitely take a major backseat to your college grades. They might only really care about the last 2 years of high school. While it is not as important that it might make or break your chances, it is still significant enough that you must factor it in when applying. Many top schools still take a look, especially to see if you are on an upward trend or not.
Depends on the college you are applying to transfer to. For junior level transfer applicants, some colleges do not require anything from high school, while others do.
