Does HOSA/HOSA competition look good on college apps?

<p>Hello! I am in HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America). Friday I competed in the Physical Therapy event at regionals, placed 2nd out of 18, and qualified for the States Leadership Conference. I do actually want to become a physical therapist. I'm going to compete at States in a few months and work hard to HOPEFULLY qualify for nationals. Does HOSA and competing look good on college apps?</p>

<p>It looks as good as pretty much every other school activity does, though there might be a very very very slight pull in the positive direction for HOSA, because it is so specialized towards the sciences and because you want to be a therapist and all that jazz.</p>

<p>But don’t do something cause it looks good. Do it cause you luv it. Lerve it. Love it. All that.</p>
