<p>Does working 2 years under a professor count as work experience? I was working will I was doing undergrad school. The professor owns his own start up company, and I have been doing interning work for him.
If it does count as work, would I be more "qualified" to apply to b-schools right out of undergrad?</p>

<p>Usually business schools mean full-time work experience. If you were interning part-time for him that probably won’t “count”. Not that you 100% won’t get in, but they won’t value interning part-time while focusing the majority of your energies on finishing undergraduate coursework the same way they will value someone who worked full-time as a middle manager at a company.</p>
