Does It Count as Legacy?

Background: Am a junior, hoping to apply ED to Penn next year. Obviously, legacy is a huge boost in ED admissions.
My question: My dad's friend went to Penn for Grad School and although she is not blood related, I consider her an aunt, see the family about once a month. Does this count as legacy or no?

No, you’re only considered by Penn to be a legacy applicant if a parent or grandparent went to Penn. However, you can mention her in your essay as a source of your familiarity with and interest in Penn.

You won’t be counted as legacy but you should definitely mention how interactions with her about her own school experience made you more convinced that Penn is the right school for you
