Does it even worth trying? (hypothetically)

Hi.
I am getting really apprehensive about my future...
I am currently a junior, who just really realized that going to a college is really important.

Here are my gpas' and individual ranks...

9th
Biology (R) B
InvBiology (H) A
Geometry (H) C+
English (R) B-
Spanish (R) C+
History (R) B+

Weighted gpa: app. 3.2 / 5.0

10th (really slacked off)
Chem (H) B-
InvChem (H) A- or B+
Algebra 2 (R) C+
Spanish 2 (R) C-
US 1 (H) C+
English (R) B+

GPA: app. 2.91/5.0, class rank bottom 60%
Class Rank bottom 70-80%

11th (Currently... BTW If you saw my post, I'm the "got D in gym" guy)
Physics (R) A
Adv Algebra (R) A
CompSci (H) A
Stock/ Econ (H) A
US 2 (H) A- or A
English (R) A-
Gym (R) D... (what have I done...)

gpa: (app. 4.06 or 4.12) /5.0
Class Rank Top 1-20%

12th (all hypothetical)
Physics B (AP) A
Calculus AB (AP) A
Macro/Micro (AP) A
CompSci (AP) A
Lit/Film (H) A

gpa: app. 4.8/5.0

If I suppose to get >2000 on SAT and get a highest grades possible
Would I have a chance at schools like CMU or NYU Stern...

I really regret that I slacked off all my life and got a D in Gym T.T

Thanks,..

Hmm Well you really improved from sophmore to junior so that could help…Carnegie is going to be a reach…Sorry

upward thread is a big plus. :]

NYU stern is comparable to the ivies.
so i’d say its a high reach
sorry
