I'm only signed up for 12 units in the Spring because all the other classes were full (yes, it's hard to believe but it's true). I did manage to explain the reason in my Part C of the personal statement. (do you think they'll still not consider this since so many other applicants DID manage to register for more than 12?)

By the way, how many units are you guys taking? How many units/semester does the average UC transfer applicant take?

as long as u have 60 units or more units with good grades i doubt they care how much units u took

I took 4 units my last semester at CCC

I’m taking 3 units, because I only need one more class. I’m auditing another class to review (5 units) but that won’t show up on my transcript since it is considered an audit. They don’t care, as long as you have your 60+ units and are done with your requirements.

Ah okay, so this is not like high school where the “rigor and difficulty of the applicant’s schedule” is a huge factor in evaluation.

yeah…im only taking 9 right now for the same reason…next term 21. they said at ucb that it doesn’t matter…

why would it matter?
i took 13 first semester, then 16, 6 during summer, 24 right now, and 12 in spring. so it makes no sense for me to take any more since i could only take like 70 units or something with me. i would alreaady have 71 done even if i only take 12 in spring
