I am in college (sophomore) and I am trying to take my gen eds to get them out of the way.

To fulfill my language requirement, i took a 300 level french class. For two other gen eds i have taken 200 level courses, and other gen eds like quantitative reasoning, expository writing, philosophy have been 100 level.

I am taking a world history level 150 class which is world civ.

However I am worried that i should drop it and take a 200 or 300 level history class instead to fulfill a history requirement. I picked the 150 because it said right on there it met the requirements for the history gen ed, however the higher level ones did not say.

I am planning on transferring after this year. So if i keep that class, will it look horrible?

(Im thinking about applying to nyu)

Btw i am an econ major.
