Does it matter when I apply?

<p>I'm an international student so the deadline's Feb 1st. I'm planning to send out my app tomorrow. My question is, did those who applied earlier, like in November, get a higher chance of getting in than me because they applied earlier. Likewise, will I get a better chance applying now than a person who applies in feburary?</p>

<p>I applied three days before the deadline in January and was accepted in February. Your stats matter a lot more than when you apply.</p>

<p>Since VT doesn’t really do rolling admissions I don’t see why it would matter, as long as you’re in before the deadline.</p>
